The new PHOENIX LINE of pet bowls from Melia Luxury Pet is a combination of our other two previous lines, Signature and Dapper. All pet bowls are 100% made in the USA. We start with a lump of talc free and asbestos free clay, craft your pet bowl and then fire in a bisque kiln at about 1800 degrees, then we paint over 150 different original designs by Rebecca W. Volandt with several layers of lead free, dinnersafe glaze, if a name is being added it will be painted at this time, then dip glazed for the nice shiny coat and finally into the kiln once again for the glaze run.

The new PHOENIX LINE of pet bowls from Melia Luxury Pet is a combination of our other two previous lines, Signature and Dapper. All pet bowls are 100% made in the USA. We start with a lump of talc free and asbestos free clay, craft your pet bowl and then fire in a bisque kiln at about 1800 degrees, then we paint over 150 different original designs by Rebecca W. Volandt with several layers of lead free, dinnersafe glaze, if a name is being added it will be painted at this time, then dip glazed for the nice shiny coat and finally into the kiln once again for the glaze run.

Our prices may be higher than those imported bowls, but everytime you buy a Melia bowl you are assured of the finest pet bowl made AND you are supporting American workers in Melia's studio as well as those material suppliers who service us. PROUD TO BE MADE IN THE USA.
