Story of Fleur de Pup:
The English translation of "fleur-de-lis" is "flower of the lily." This symbol, depicting a stylized lily or lotus flower, has many meanings. Traditionally, it has been used to represent French royalty, and in that sense it is said to signify perfection, light, and life. Recently, it has become the official emblem of New Orleans signifying the city's strength in their ability to rebuild their lives and communities.

We decided upon the name Fleur de Pup because as pet owners ourselves, we believe in treating our dogs as royalty. We see them in their own way as perfection. Our pets provide the light to each day and enrich our lives with every kiss and wag of their tail. They give us the strength to move forward when times become difficult.

The Humane Society is the nation's largest and most effective animal protection organization backed by over 10 million Americans. Together, we will work with the Humane Society to reduce animal suffering and create meaningful social change for animals by advocating for sensible public policies, educating the public about animal issues, joining with corporations on behalf of animal-friendly policies, and conducting hands-on programs that make ours a more humane world.
